Nathan 'Nate' Storey
Vision, Goals & Planning Process
Nate Storey is the Managing Director of Warehouse Equipment at Storage Solutions, a Jungheinrich company headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. Over the past 20 years at SSI, he has guided the organization through multiple ownership transitions, including transitions to private, ESOP, and private equity ownership, as well as a strategic ownership buyout.
Throughout his career in the storage and handling industry, he has held a wide range of roles, giving him a well-rounded perspective and deep expertise in optimizing relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees. He is currently serving on the MHEDA Board of Directors & held the position of Chairman of the Board in 2025.
Outside of work, Nate stays busy supporting his four children’s activities—often coordinating schedules with his wife to keep everything running smoothly. In his free time, he enjoys playing the banjo, spending time with family and friends, working out, and continuing to learn about leadership.

Jim Ripkey is a veteran leader in the material-handling industry, currently serving as President of Industrial Equipment at Hy-Tek Intralogistics. With over 35 years of experience, he is known for his expertise in operations, sales management, and dealer network growth. He is regarded as a strategic asset, having previously doubled Hy-Tek’s aftermarket business and expanded its technician team by 50 percent during his tenure.
